I had never used this type of make-up sponges before but having used them I think they are really good. The small pointy one is good for getting concealer in the corner of the eyes as well as round the nostrils and corners of the mouth (if you do that type of thing) as well as using it for my blusher. The big one I use for smoothing and patting on foundation. I think that they are really good value for money. I do find, though, that the foundation pigment is difficult to get rid of but since they're both for using the same thing it doesn't really matter. I know they are clean so that's fine. There is something that you can purchase which does remove more of the pigme nt than hand soap but I can't remember the name of it.
