Love this brush for liquid foundation. This easily replaced my more expensive brush that my dog ate (seriously) perfectly blends and leaves no hairs behind. I'll definitely buy again!Literally threw it away it was so terribleThis comes in a little plastic bag that is sealed.I am a makeup fanatic and love makeup brushes! I have tons of them from really affordable to really expensive. I have great synthetic ones and great natural haired ones. I love both. There’s brushes that are really affordable that are better quality and perform better than really expensive ones I’ve tried, and vice versa. When it comes to synthetic brushes, there’s one thing I don’t like - an overly synthetic feel. If you have tried different makeup brushes, you probably know what I mean. They have that silky feel to them. They’re very soft, but so silky that they don’t hold onto product well. If it’s powder products, the powder just falls off of them. When you’re using creams or liquids, synthetic brushes are usually better because they don’t absorb a bunch of product. But, if they have that overly synthetic feel to them, that silky feel to them, then they tend to just kind of move product around, not really blend it in.Lately, I’ve been trying a few different Energy brushes. Most of them have that overly synthetic feel to them, which makes them harder to work with. This one definitely has that overly synthetic feel to it. This is a foundation brush. When brushes have that overly synthetic feel too them, they’re too silky and things just kind of slip. So, when it comes to foundation they just kind of push the product around. It takes A LOT longer to blend out your foundation with brushes like this because they take so long to really buff it into the skin since it’s just kind of pushing it around. The brush would be great if it didn’t have that overly silky, slippery feel to it. It’s dense enough to give good coverage but not so dense where it doesn’t have any give. It’s soft. It would do an amazing job if it could actually blend the foundation in. It blends it in, it just takes way longer since it kind of just presses it down and moves it around. But, eventually it blends into the skin. I just don’t want to reach for a brush that’s going to take me twice as long to do my foundation when I can reach for a different brush that does it quicker but still looks great. With this it just takes too long and can look streaky too if you’re not careful to make sure it’s really blended in since it just moves things around so much.Overall, it’s a decent brush. It’s really soft for sure, but too silky and slippery to do a quick, seamless job at blending foundation. It will get the job done, but it takes way longer and takes extra work. This isn’t something I’ll reach for because of that. I have other brushes that don’t take as much work to blend out my foundation. So, I wouldn’t really recommend this. If you don’t mind the extra work, then you might like this. It would probably be my favorite foundation brush if it didn’t have that silky, slippery, overly synthetic feel. I love the cut and shape. It’s the perfect combination of density and flexibility. But, personally, I’d say there’s better options out there in the same price range. So, I give it 3 stars. It works okay, just not better than other options out there. This Kabuki Foundation Brush comes in two different styles and I ordered "Smoothing Face Brush". The packaging is nice and the brush looks way better in person than I expected so for the price, I think it's a good deal. It's very soft but dense so it works great on liquid foundations. It blends the foundation very well but still not a very smooth and even finish skin so I still need to use beauty sponge quickly just to have a flawless finish skin. I use this brush for powder foundations but I think it works better with liquid foundation rather than powder.ENERGY Kabuki foundation brush does a great job of blending and applying my foundation. The bristles feel soft on my face and do not come off when applying makeup like other brushes do. The brush feels nice in my grip as well and makes application easy and hassle free. I think this brush would also work great with blush application. This ENERGY Kabuki Foundation Brush has synthetic bristles that feel really soft against my sensitive skin. It’s a pretty brush with a shiny black ferrule that fits snugly as it should. This brush hasn’t had any shedding issues even when I’ve washed it. This brush feels slightly short and stubby, but I’m 5’11” with proportionately larger hands (glove size L/XL), and the feel of it is comfortable enough. This brush has dense bristles and a slightly rounded top. It’s definitely not a fluffy brush but it doesn’t seem quite as densely packed as a couple of angled Energy foundation brushes that I’ve been using primarily for blending my liquid foundation. Still, it performs well for liquid foundation and it’s versatile as I can use it for other uses too.For liquid foundation, I like to put my foundation on my hand, apply it with my fingers, and i use this Energy brush to blend by dabbing in a circular motion (rather than spreading). I get good coverage that’s smooth, even and streak free even where I have pigmentation issues. I’m also happy with the results using this brush for applying and blending cream blush and a number of powder and liquid products. Like it a lot. 4.5 stars.I've been using this brush for a couple months and it has worked really well for applying foundation. It's soft and the bristles are held in with a metal ferrule. I've washed it multiple times and it has held up well with no lost bristles. I use alcohol for an initial cleaning and then a brush shampoo. The brush is easy to hold and feels like a more expensive brush. This brush works really great with cream products. I use it to stipple my cream blush on, then to blend it out and it gives me a nice, even wash of color. I feel like this brush provides pretty good control. I can sheer the product out or make it a little more dense if I desire. This brush has a nice medium weight to it and the bristles are soft. I have not used this to apply foundation, but it would certainly work to stipple on foundation. For the price, this is a versatile brush and I’m really satisfied. I did not have one like it in my collection previously.
